Poly-polyhedron
Copenhagen, Denmark. March 2018.
Hand-painted acrylic on MDF, varnish, glue, hook.
Diameter: 25cm.
Edition of 3.
Description
This work could be called ‘a polyhedral painting’ since a polyhedral object is meticulously painted to reveal depth and perspective other than the actual geometric surface. Employing devices from op-art and minimalism, this work becomes live when suspended from the ceiling and starts rotating slowly around its axis, inviting the viewer to a continuous debate of the three-dimensional space.
